Elizabeth II, the woman who had volunteered and willing to be sacrificed for the community coronated in 1952, and she gave a coronation speech in front of the British. At that time, most political ideas were based on the influence of the industrial society, refusing to accept absolute ideas and focusing on individuals, not communities. In the speech, she tries to remind the British that she is the one who will prosper England. The mechanisms she used to emphasize Britain is not restrained by other country’s politic style are a compliment and advice.

First, Elizabeth indicates she compliments that England would prosper. Overall, she focuses on maintaining that the British are great in many ways, and they are a great nation. Plus, she stresses that she will serve all nation, and try her best to get citizen’s credit not as a queen or a woman, but as a ruler. In addition, she mentions that England has prospered in the past and it will continue. Her passion and spirit toward the country are strong, but citizens are not as strong as her. Moreover, she says she will unite their people who spread abroad to support the task what she is dedicated to complete. Besides, when she compliments the achievements made by the country, she uses strong and positive words to express her feelings of satisfaction. This optimistic tone supports the British who are listening to her speech to be proud of their own nation. As I can see in the speech, she is confident in leading the country and she has faith in citizens that they will support her to rule England in the best way.

On top of that, she gives actual advice to flourish in England. She aims they will be able to grow in economics and other areas than now in paragraph 10. She accentuates that England has been sustained for a long time and invigorated in governance, literature, and language, also it considers an expression, as sacred to the crown and monarchy as its many parliaments and people. However, the British should cherish them and practice them to keep. Then, they can go forward together in peace, freedom, and justice. In paragraph 10, she keeps saying they must maintain and develop what they have now and not to lose them. England has a long and deep history, she attempts to try to be combined with the old and new society, so they have a grand and progressive society which has different lands and races in the historical origins. Because of these recommendations and advice, the British could support and rely on her.

In a nutshell, Elizabeth tries to praise her country, England, and their people as a great yearning from another country which as a long history and enviable history in her coronation speech. Also, she mentioned she is a queen in Great Britain. Finally, she also recommended and advised what they can be changed and gave their possibility to improve. It made her people trust her stronger.
